Description
We are on the search for a Help Desk Analyst II to join a team based in Pleasanton, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues, ensuring efficient resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of user workstations, operating systems, and applications. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Address internal employees' IT related issues and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Document support efforts in the service desk systems and follow up with employees on open incidents and requests.
Install, monitor, and maintain user workstations, operating systems, and applications.
Propose and implement Helpdesk/IT support process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with internal controls related to particular IT functions.
Write knowledgebase articles of solutions and "how to" information for users and IT technicians.
Administer and maintain network security access to protect company information and systems.
Manage medium to large projects from planning to fulfillment, ensuring successful and timely completion.
Provide support in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure environments.
Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and configuration management.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Knowledge of computer hardware and desktop hardware
Familiarity with configuration management processes
Proven experience in deskside support
Solid understanding of basic troubleshooting and hardware troubleshooting techniques
Experienced in managing trouble tickets effectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Proactive attitude and ability to handle unexpected situations
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
